I painted this after being out a walk in summer and coming across alot of poppies growing wild at the edges of the fields, that bright red against the green really stood out.
I did take photos of them for reference then made the painting but unfortunately I cant seem to find them.

Full description
This bright and cheerfull painting shows brilliant red poppies popping out amongst the long grass.
Inspired by a clump i seen last summer growing wild at the edge of a field near my home.
Measuring 8inch by 8inch square, 1.5cm deep, and painted using daler rowney acrylic paints.
I don't varnish or add hanging hooks to my canvasses, however I can do this if you wish, please just message me to request this option.
To care for your painting, please keep out of direct and prolonged sunlight as this will bleach colours over time.
To dust, use a dry or very slightly damp soft cloth. Thanks
