Aglimmer Pendants -where elements mix to beautiful effect. Metals meet glass and are wrapped in wood. Voila! An original "tree bauble" ...that also plants a tree!

My designs are etched into the copper. Next fine silver foil is applied and multiple layers of enamels ground back to reveal the design beneath. The silver enables the light to bounce back, and so reflecting the colours through the transparent enamels. Lastly, I wood-turn a setting for the decorative disc to sit in.

Because of the unique nature of wood, no two pendants will be exactly alike. My supply of wood is from a sustainable source but look forward to using my own trees in the future. For each pendant that is sold I will plant a tree to create copses, reinstate hedgerows and help increase the biodiversity in my little patch of Pembrokeshire.

Each pendant comes with a length of cotton thong with a copper "plant a tree" button. The thong is left unknotted for you to fit your pendant to your preferred length. Please do not tighten the knot until you are satisfied with where it sits, and please be sure to enable it to slip over the button easily enough.
