I got the chance of a big bag of used king scallop shells a while back and after alot of cleaning, I handpainted them and turned them into all different wall art and trinket dishes.

Full description

This charming wall art makes you think of spring. A mixture of different types of daffodils all handpainted together on a king scallop shell.

I used the outside of the curved shell which is very textured, it gives the painting a different effect at different angles.

Measuring 10 cm in height and 11cm long. With dark green satin ribbon attached for hanging.

Painted in daler rowney acrylic paints and several coats of clear gloss added for durability and makes it easy to wipe clean.

Your parcel will arrive nicely packaged and presented.

WARNING If shell is dropped it may break and create sharp edges with it being a real shell.

Designed by Miss Denise Skwarczylo in Bonnyrigg, midlothian, scotland
