Drawstring bags are so handy - You can use them for keeping things together like craft materials or those little things you want to keep together in your bag. They look lovely hung up to brighten up a room and they also make great reusuable gift bags for difficult to wrap gifts.
The fabric I used to make the cover of this bag is a French 1960s vintage barkcloth called 'Eleonore'. It had never been used and and has been carefully stored so it looks brand new. The design features rectangles in various shades of blue and green with a pop of red and white from the occasional daisy. Eleonore means Shining Light or Bright One which I think descibes it perfectly.
As I only had a small amount of this beautiful fabric, this drawstring bag really is one-of-a-kind.
- The bag measures 20 x 20cm (laid flat)
- Co-ordinating royal blue double satin recycled ribbon drawstring
- Fully enclosed 'French Seams'
- The Final photo shows the pattern placement on the other side of the bag
- Hand wash or pop it in your machine on a delicates wash, hang to dry and finish with a cool iron
