A gorgeous Americana decoration, which would make a lovely addition to your 4th July displays - particularly for this year's semi quincentennial celebrations.
The decoration is made from a piece of background vintage quilt in red, white & blue. Attached by a rustic safety pin, is a star made from a printed red & white square quilt, finished off with tied scrim, dried flowers and a 'my sweet home' printed label.
It hangs from a coiled rusty spring, trimmed with a rusty bell, linen tag and stamped 1776 label.
Quilt background measures 21cm x 22cm
Please note that the vintage quilt used to make this hanging, show signs of wear, commensurate of the age of the fabric, but only adds charm to the finished item. Please do not purchase if you prefer your fabrics to be perfect.
