Full description
A small, tactile mindfulness object made from a woodland stick and a naturally smoothed stone, bound together with cord. Blue, teal and buff threads are woven into the binding reflecting subtle tones in the stone. The threads come from Masson Mills in the Derwent Valley World Heritage Site, adding a textile heritage connection to this natural talisman.
The pebble and wood are used as found, nothing has been carved or altered. It is made to be held as much as displayed, to bring a moment of calm and focus. Keep in on your desk or nature shelf ready to pick up absentmindedly when you need something tactile to ground you.
At home in rustic interiors and minimalist, hygge or wabi-sabi style spaces. It fits with woodland or light academic decor, and is perfect for anyone who collects found objects, natural materials, and small handmade pieces with a calm, grounded presence.
