This Goddess/Angel Mandala measures 15cm (6") diameter. It is single sided and stiffened on the reverse (plain black) to hold it's shape. It comprises of an embossed, soft metal detail that I designed, coloured with alcohol inks and stitched onto various painted and fibre fabrics for the background. Mixed yarns are zig zagged on the outer edge and a hanging loop with a single, hand rolled and painted paper bead to finish it off on the top.
Please note: I have a few items for sale of a similar design in different colour themes listed here in my Folksy shop if you wish to take a look. Due to the up-cycled nature of softened drinks cans there will be markings and blemishes that are part of the design.
Care of this handmade fabric item:
This item is decorative and not really suitable for children or over handling. Simply iron on a gentle heat on the reverse if any distortion occurs.
Whilst colours are light-fast please keep out of direct sunlight or windows to avoid fading or degrading over time.
Items can be dusted with a soft brush or damp cloth if needed. Not suitable to be washed.
A little BluTak type temporary adhesive can be added on the reverse near the bottom if in a draughty spot to hold it to the wall.
