rosehip linocut coffee cup tea mug in soft blue Stoneware ceramic pottery handformed.
8-9cm x 9cm
Made from Stoneware clay to be lighter and stronger Instead of being wrapped around a mould and trimmed, handformed mugs are raw edged and curved into shape to make a gentler circle thats different every time,making them more tactile allowing for more movement in the glaze. I decorate my mugs with hand carved linocuts, stamps or hand stamped text, then highlight these with black underglaze then apply glazes to make them waterproof dishwasher proof and even suitable for the microwave.
