Full description
A original felt fibre and stitch contemporary landscape.
This piece is inspired by a rainy day, here on the South Cumbria fells.
It was one of those blustery, drizzly days, as we say here, it was Mizzlin with the threat of a Hossin it down on the way. Even the birds were off to take cover.
I remember feeling the pull of a hot brew and making a dash for home.
Created from merino wools, fabric, silks and fibres with appliqué.
To finish the piece free motion stitch a form of drawing with a sewing machine.
This original textile landscape can be supplied
1. FRAMED and window mounted - frame size is 23 x 23 cm. For safe transporting the frame has a clear acrylic front .
OR
2. Mounted as seen here to fit a 23 x 23 cm frame- a standard off the shelf frame size.

I am happy to provide a mock up to give you an idea of how this will look in your frame.
Good to know
This piece will be either signed and or initialled on the front mount and signed and dated on the back.
