These beautiful earrings have been created from recycled silver.
The square studs are around 1 cm x 1 cm, and about 1 mm in thickness, making them quite sturdy. After the silver has been melted and rolled into a sheet of the desired thickness, the single squares are sawn by hand, then textured with a hammer, and filed to make them just right. Small beads of silver are soldered on the top of the stud, to add a little more fun to these unique studs. The hammered texture of the studs catches the light and makes them sparkle and twinkle like are covered in tiny crystals or gemstones.
These stud earrings measure a total of 1 x 1 cm, and weigh just over 4 grams.
All my pieces are lovingly handmade in South London. These earrings will be sent in a small black box with cotton padding inside. They can be sent directly as a gift to someone else, with a handwritten message. To do so, just send me a message at the time of purchase to let me know where to send them.
Your earrings will be sent by Royal Mail, 48 hour tracked delivery.
Hallmarking - The Hallmarking Act (1973) mandates that any sterling silver product over 7.78 grams must be hallmarked by a UK Assay Office. Pieces below this threshold are not required to be hallmarked, and as such, these earrings have not been hallmarked.
