Full description
These beautiful earrings have been created using Keum Boo, an ancient Korean technique that fuses 24 carat gold foil into sterling silver using heat and pressure.
The domed discs are 1.7 cm in diameter at its widest. They have beautiful accents of gold inside, and have been oxidised to a dark grey to bring out and enhance the contrast between the silver and gold. The edges of the discs have been polished back to a metallic silver, making the contrast even more striking. These drops feature a handmade ear hook wire. When worn, they are extremely comfortable, yet the weight of them is enough to make them swing as you move, making them catch the light and sparkle in gold and silver.
These drop earrings measure a total of 5.5 cm in length from top to bottom.
All my pieces are lovingly handmade in South London. These earrings will be sent in a small black box with cotton padding inside. They can be sent directly as a gift to someone else, with a handwritten message. To do so, just send me a message at the time of purchase to let me know where to send them.
Your earrings will be sent by Royal Mail, 48 hour tracked delivery.
Hallmarking - The Hallmarking Act (1973) mandates that any sterling silver product over 7.78 grams must be hallmarked by a UK Assay Office. Pieces below this threshold are not required to be hallmarked, and as such, these earrings have not been hallmarked.
