Group booking for 4 people. This is a 4 hour class which will be scheduled in at a mutually acceptable date and time. If you need to book this for a set, specific date, please contact me FIRST to ensure I can reserve this time in my schedule for your event. Discover the magic of machine sewing and socialise whilst creating something unique. We provide everything you need to get started; just bring your specs, if you need them, and your curiosity.

Sewing machines will be set up and ready to use and all technical bits will be handled by us for this class. Think of it as a test-drive! Do you love sewing or hate it with a passion? Time to find out. Absolutely no experience required.

We'll begin with the basics of sewing, guiding you through exercises like mastering straight lines, pivoting around sharp corners, and securing your stitches so your creations last a lifetime. Once you're comfortable with the basics, you'll be given gorgeous fabric (pre-cut and ready to use) to sew your very own shopping bag. With step-by-step guidance, you'll transform flat fabric into a functional masterpiece, leaving the studio with a sense of pride and a beautiful new bag on your shoulder.

Bring a metre of suitable (furnishing weight) fabric with you if you think you might be fast enough to make more than one bag, and I'll supply the lining fabric.

Perfect for small hen parties or birthdays or just a gathering of friends, these fun workshops can be themed via fabric colour or print (please note - additional costs will apply) if enough advance notice is given. Just email me to see if it's possible. Otherwise you will choose your pre-cut fabric from a range carefully selected for you from our stock materials.

This workshop is open to makers aged 12 and up (youngsters under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult guardian).
