Held in my studio in Low Valleyfield, Fife, KY12 8TL
10am to 1pm
Perfect for those who have never used a sewing machine before, or who last used one many years ago. Do you think you'd like sewing? Time to find out and take a test drive with this three hour class.
You'll each have the use of one of our studio sewing machines, some modern and some vintage. You'll be shown how to use the machine safely and given a few wee tasks to do to get the feel of it.
Alternatively you may bring your own sewing machine to class and use that - this is the best option if you can do it, as it's the machine you will sew on at home.
After a little practice, you will make a practical fabric shopping bag to take home. Our expert tutor will be on hand to guide you through the process step by step.
What is included in your class fee
Sewing machines to use in class - both modern and vintage. Please bring your own machine if you'd prefer to use that.
Fabric for your shopping bag.
The use of all other materials, tools and our supportive encouragement and guidance.
Hot drinks and a cheeky wee biscuit or two.
This class requires at least 2 guests to run. In the event that we don't reach this number, we may cancel the session; if that happens, we'll inform you and let you choose between a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS the day prior to the class.
