A pretty and practical elasticated bookmark, which won't slip out of your book and lose your page.
Made from a gorgeous duck egg blue linen, it depicts a little wren perching on a branch. The design is made by appliqueing small scraps of fabric and stitching them using free motion embroidery.
Wrens are one of my favourite birds, and I love spotting them in our garden. They are also quite distinctive with their upturned tail and white eyebrow, making them relatively easy to represent in stitch.
This bookmark is approximately 8cm wide and 12cm high, and the elastic is 28cm long, which means it will fit most sizes of book including hardback.
A perfect gift for any bird lover or bookworm!
