Make Your Own Happy is a positive brand focusing on the importance of creativity as a method of self-care. It was started by myself, Donna, as an antidote to the stress from my job as a teacher. Through my kits and workshops I hope to encourage and support others to use crafting as a way to slow down, relax and find joy in quiet moments of creativity.

New! I'm beginning to move away from pre-printed embroidery kits and towards Stick & Stitch packs-offering a more flexible, creative, and sustainable way to stitch.
These designs are a little different from my original Stick & Stitch range. Alongside the printed designs, you'll also receive a stitch guide and colour guide, giving you the option to recreate my original design if you'd like that extra support.
But as always, these packs are an invitation to make something truly your own. Simply peel and stick the design onto any fabric you choose-whether that's clothing, accessories, or a favourite scrap-and stitch using whatever threads and techniques you love.
You can follow the guides closely, or take a more intuitive approach-changing colours, swapping stitches, or adding your own details as you go. Once you've finished stitching, the lines wash away, leaving just your finished piece behind.
They're perfect for using what you already have, experimenting more freely, and enjoying the process of slow, creative stitching in a way that feels personal to you.
