Bring a touch of slow-crafted charm to your home with a Timber & Thread bespoke name garland. Each piece is an original composition, designed to be a tactile keepsake that grows with your child.
The standout detail of our garlands is the hanging cord. Eschewing mass-produced ribbons, I hand-braid every rope in my studio using a traditional lucet fork. This ancient technique creates a beautiful, square-profile cotton cord that is incredibly strong—a true mark of heirloom quality.
I believe nursery decor should be sensory. Each letter is individually hand-stitched from a curated selection of premium fabrics, chosen for their unique weight and weave. Your garland will feature a 'perfectly mismatched' sequence of:
Architectural bouclé & heavyweight linens
Heritage-style tapestry florals & vintage-inspired prints. Soft velvets & tactile cotton weaves.
As each garland is made-to-order, I personally sequence the fabrics to ensure a sophisticated balance of pattern and tone. While the exact fabrics vary, I love working to a palette. Whether you are dreaming of "Deep Forest & Gold" or "Wildflower & Cream", simply leave a note with your order and I will curate a selection especially for you.
