Full description
This piece is from a large storm-felled chestnut tree. It is a medium toned brown with dark streaks. The bowl was twice-turned on a wood lathe in a way that shows off the grain in the best way. This bowl would make a great display piece or could hold decorative items, but may not be great for soup!
Dimensions: 28.5cm width 7.3cm depth
Bowl care : Hand wash using soap and water and then dry with a soft cloth. avoid prolonged soaking in water. Never dishwash
Disclaimer: Carefully selected timber is part turned sealed and seasoned, they are then reselected and shaped to show once hidden grain patterns. We craft our designs from solid timber and with this in mind, care and consideration is needed as all timber is hydroscopic and will release and absorb moisture relative to its surroundings. so movement and natural defects are considered to be expected.
