I wanted to create a simple way to organise everyday kitchen items without relying on plastic containers or mixed materials.
Most trays and organisers feel temporary or visually cluttered, especially when used daily on a worktop. I wanted something more permanent — a solid piece that keeps oil, spices and small items in one place while still feeling calm and intentional.
The combination of walnut and tulipwood came from the idea of balancing contrast without making the piece visually heavy. The layout is kept simple so it works as both a practical organiser and a clean, stable object on the table or counter.
Safety information
This item is made from solid hardwood (American walnut and cherry) and finished with Danish oil suitable for household use. The product has no sharp edges in normal use. Not intended for children. Avoid exposure to excessive moisture or heat sources. Do not place in dishwasher. Use on a stable, flat surface only.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Handcrafted kitchen tray made from solid American walnut and American cherry.
Designed to organise olive oil, spices, small bowls or everyday kitchen items while adding the warmth of natural hardwood to your kitchen or dining table.
The board features a walnut–cherry–walnut composition, creating a balanced contrast between the two hardwoods.
The layout is designed to keep everyday kitchen items organised in a clear and practical way. Four rounded recesses can hold small bowls, jars or spice containers, while the rectangular compartment provides space for bottles, grinders or other frequently used items.
With a 20 mm thick solid hardwood construction, the tray has a stable weight that allows it to sit securely on a kitchen counter or dining table. The surfaces are carefully sanded and finished with Danish oil to enhance the natural grain and maintain a warm matte character.
Over time the hardwood develops deeper tones and natural character rather than peeling or delaminating like composite materials.
