Full description
This handcrafted X-shaped magnetic trivet set is made from solid hardwood and includes two sizes for different cookware.
The set contains one large trivet and one small trivet, allowing you to choose the most suitable support for everything from saucepans to larger pots and frying pans.
Embedded neodymium magnets attach to most steel cookware, helping the trivet stay with the pot or pan while carrying it from the kitchen worktop to the dining table. This allows hot cookware to be moved and placed without repositioning the trivet separately.
When not in use, the magnetic elements connect together for compact storage in a drawer or cupboard.
The solid hardwood construction provides durability, stability and a satisfying weight in the hand. The surfaces are carefully sanded and finished with Danish oil to enhance the natural grain and maintain a warm matte character.
Over time the hardwood develops deeper tones and natural character rather than peeling or delaminating like composite materials.
The set works well as:

a hardwood table protector for serving dishes
