This piece was inspired by those hushed moments at the water’s edge—when everything feels still and time stretches just a little longer. Watching an egret stand so quietly, so patiently, I wanted to capture that sense of calm and quiet presence in wool.
There’s something grounding about these birds—the way they move with such intention, yet seem completely at peace in their surroundings. This felted egret is my way of holding onto that feeling, of slowing down and noticing the soft beauty in the world around us.
