I had never seen an embroidery quite like this one! And so it was a pleasure to find. I love the serious chat these two rabbits seem to be having, and the simple naiive way in which they have been embroidered.

Full description
A little Easter make up bag or zipped purse upcycled from a vintage tray cloth embroidered with two rabbits having a chat! This vintage tray cloth had seen better days, but had this sweet pair of rabbits had to be given a new lease of life. Stitched in a simple style, they may have been worked by a child, perhaps as an illustration for a book? These little bags are always useful for makeup, hand bag organising or for storing headphones or buds. They are perfect as a little Easter gift, or as a present for a spring Birthday.
The embroidered front has been backed with canvas to give it some body, but it is still a soft little bag.
The bag measures 22 cm by 16 cm and has a 22 cm purple zip opening. The ends are boxed to make them a little more roomy.
There are two clusters of vintage buttons on the front, and the back is made from recycled blue denim.
The lining is vintage Laura Ashley floral cotton and there is a useful finger hook for hanging up and admiring the sweet hand embroidery.
The bag is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Please wash on a short cool setting, and leave to dry naturally.
Your bag will be posted out in clean, recycled wrapping and sent as RM 2nd class.
