I always woke on Christmas morning to find a bear sitting at the bottom of my bed so bears have always been a tradition during my growing up. I made cheap fabric bears often out of old clothes and later for many years made antique style mohair bears.

Full description
This is Stuart and the first of a new range of bears for 2026. Similar to my previous knitted bear but smaller at just 8" (20cm)
Slimmer but with the same fat tummy and long arms. All my bears have moving limbs but the new ones will also include a neck joint to position his head.
Stuart is knitted in a textured yarn with a mohair appearance. His "fur" can be left shaggy or brushed smooth with something like a soft toothbrush.
He wears a simple neck warmer which is easily removed if you wish.
