Full description
Early morning sunrise textile art picture made using offcuts from upcycled materials. A small cottage sits on a hill with the sun bright in the early morning sky. The early morning mist turning the sun into a white ball with a beautiful soft orange sky.
I've used a variety of embroidery stitches to attach the fabric pieces to a piece of vintage fabric. All hand stitched with no machine stitching. The fabrics are all reclaimed. The sky is from a beautiful shaded chiffon scarf, there is a piece from a silk tie, lace from a vintage top and wool fabric from a remnant.
The artwork will be sent in the white mount shown in the photos and is laced to white back board making it easy to remove if required..
It measures 6 x 8 ins.
