This bag began with the fabric — a joyful underwater world full of oversized sea creatures drifting through bright seaweed. The creamy background reminded me of sunlight hitting shallow water, and the bold colours felt like a celebration of summer. I paired it with a green spotted lining for a fresh, leafy contrast, and chose handles that combine playful stripes with the smoothness of faux leather, echoing the mix of texture and movement in the print.
It’s designed to feel sturdy, uplifting and ready for adventure — a practical everyday tote with a little seaside magic stitched into the seams.

Full description
A bright, ocean inspired tote bag sewn from tough cotton canvas and lined with a contrasting green cotton with tiny white spots. The outer fabric features large, colourful marine creatures — a gentle turtle, a drifting whale, a cheerful crab and starfish — all swimming through bright seaweed on a creamy white background. It’s a lively, summery print that brings a little seaside joy to everyday errands. A magnetic clasp closes the bag.
The handles are a playful mix: stripy webbing on one side (orange, yellow and purple) and soft faux leather on the other, giving the bag both comfort and character. They measure approximately 28–30 cm, perfect for hand carrying, and are securely stitched into the seams for strength.
This roomy tote is ideal for small grocery or market trips; beach days and picnics; carrying books, craft projects or work essentials; baby bits and bobs, and travel, days out, or keeping by the door for spontaneous adventures
The fabric is not waterproof, but it will tolerate a brief shower. Colours are shown as faithfully as possible in the photographs.
