This piece grew from a wish to make something simple, natural and comforting using materials from the garden. Lavender and hops have been used for centuries to encourage restfulness, and the process of harvesting, drying and blending them feels like a quiet ritual in itself.
The frog fabric adds a touch of light hearted charm, a reminder of still ponds and peaceful evenings. The inner pouch is sewn from salvaged cotton taken from an old judo gi, part of an ongoing effort to reduce waste and give well loved materials a new purpose.
Each pillow is a small expression of care, made to bring a moment of calm at the end of the day.
Safety information
Some people may have an allergy or sensitivity to lavender or hops. If you know you react to either plant, this product is not suitable for you. People with respiratory conditions can also be sensitive to strong fragrances, so it is important to use the pillow with care and discontinue use if the scent feels overwhelming or uncomfortable. Lavender and hop pillows can leave a gentle scent on bedding. This is normal for natural botanicals. Hops also contain a fine yellow pollen that may stain the inner pouch over time. The inner bag is enclosed within the outer pillow to help protect bedding and to keep the botanical mix contained. The pillow is not a toy and should be kept out of reach of young children and pets. The outer fabric is not waterproof.

Full description
A handmade lavender and hop sleep pillow filled with dried botanicals gathered from the garden during the summer. The outer cover shows a cheerful frog leaping and sitting among lily pads, with a line of machine stitched embroidery across the top for a neat finish. Inside is a separate inner pouch packed with dried lavender and home grown hops, creating a naturally soothing scent.
Place the pillow beside or beneath your own pillow to enjoy the gentle aroma as you settle down for the night. Many people find this traditional mix calming and helpful for relaxation.
Please note that the fabric is not waterproof.

Postage cost is for second class, small parcel, tracked delivery. Any unused package and postage costs will be refunded.
