I love making these lamps, ther are so many processes involved. From cleaning the gourd, designing, cutting, sanding, painting - several coats!
I love mixing the colours too.

This homegrown gourd has been dried and cleaned. Painted with cream swirls and drilled with hundreds of holes.
This emits a warm glow in the evenings.
Measures 44cm high from base to top of stem and 9cm at its widest part.
Nestled on a 6cm LED wood base with USB port.
Ultra stylish and good for the environment.
