This collection grew from a love of small celebrations — the quiet magic of hanging a star, the joy of sharing cake, the playfulness of dancing mice, and the determined generosity of hedgehogs on cupcake missions. Each illustration is a tiny moment of delight, designed to spark imagination and bring a smile.
Working with Penny Black’s expressive characters, I added soft watercolour touches to enhance their movement and personality. These pieces were created with crafters, storytellers, and gentle makers in mind — illustrations that invite creativity, encourage mindful making, and bring a little wonder to everyday projects.

An A4 sheet of six hand stamped illustrations, created using Penny Black designs on thick, lightly textured watercolour paper.
Each miniature scene is full of charm, movement, and gentle storytelling:
1. A tiny mouse hanging a star from the moon, balancing delicately in the night sky.
2. A determined cat carrying an enormous tiered cake, taller than itself.
3. A hedgehog delivering a cupcake, carried proudly on the back of a snail wearing a party hat.
4. A leaping mouse in a soft pink tutu, full of energy and joy.
5. A twirling mouse in a matching pink tutu, caught midspin.
6. A hedgehog racing along with a giant cupcake topped with a glowing candle.
These illustrations are perfect for card making, journalling, scrapbooking, children’s crafts, or framing as tiny whimsical prints. The sturdy watercolour paper is ideal for cutting, layering, or adding your own embellishments.
Each sheet is individually hand stamped and watercoloured, giving every set its own unique character. There is also an uncoloured option, perfect for mindful colouring, personalising the scenes, or choosing your own palette.
If buying mutiple items, unused postage costs will be returned to the buyer.
