These bunny illustrations were chosen for their gentle humour and the sweet, expressive storytelling that Penny Black stamps capture so well. The idea of bunnies tucked into pots felt playful and full of personality—curious, shy, mischievous, and content all at once. This listing is for an A5 sheet featuring two separate bunny illustrations, each created from original Penny Black stamp impressions and hand watercoloured on thick, high quality watercolour paper.
The sheet includes:
1. Two cute bunnies sitting upright in plant pots, paws resting over the rim, each holding a daisy like flower in their mouths
2. A group of five young bunnies nestled in terracotta pots, with one looking straight out, two gazing at each other, one showing only his ears, and one with his tail in the air
Each illustration is painted individually, giving every bunny its own expression and tiny variations. The paper is sturdy enough for crafting and can be cut, trimmed, mounted, layered, or framed. These designs make wonderful card toppers, scrapbook elements, journal decorations, nursery keepsakes, or small pieces of art to include in gifts.
There is also an option to purchase an unpainted version of the sheet. The stamped outlines are ready for you to colour yourself using watercolour, pencils, markers, or mixed media.
