This trio of foxes was inspired by the soft, expressive world of Penny Black stamps and the tiny acts of kindness and curiosity that woodland animals often evoke in imagination. Each scene suggests a miniature story: a fox pausing to admire a butterfly, a hedgehog delivering a thoughtful card, and a bird offering a gift with cheerful generosity.
Hand‑painting the illustrations brings out their warmth and personality, while the unpainted option invites others to enjoy the creative process themselves. The aim was to create a sheet that feels cosy, friendly, and full of gentle woodland magic—ready to become part of handmade cards, memory books, children’s keepsakes, or thoughtful gifts.

This listing is for an A5 sheet featuring three separate fox illustrations, each created from original Penny Black stamp impressions and hand watercoloured on thick, high quality watercolour paper.
The sheet includes:
