These little dancers were inspired by the playful, expressive world of Penny Black stamps and the joy of capturing movement in miniature. Each mouse has her own character: a confident twirl, a shy pose, a joyful leap, a graceful spin. Hand‑painting them allows those personalities to shine through, while the unpainted option invites others to enjoy the colouring process themselves.
The aim was to create a sheet that feels light, happy, and full of gentle storytelling—something that can become part of handmade cards, memory books, children’s keepsakes, or thoughtful gifts.

This listing is for an A5 sheet featuring four separate dancing mice, each hand watercoloured from original Penny Black stamp impressions. The illustrations are painted on thick, high quality watercolour paper and can be cut out individually to use as card toppers, scrapbook elements, journal decorations, or small framed pieces.
The set includes four different ballet mice, each in a different coloured tutu and each with her own movement and personality. Because they are individually watercoloured, every sheet has its own tiny variations, making it completely unique.
There is also the option to purchase an unpainted version of the sheet. The stamped outlines are ready for you to colour yourself using watercolour, pencils, markers, or mixed media, making it perfect for crafters who enjoy adding their own creative touch.
