The second painting in the "Zest and Zenith" series.
A smaller canvas but equally vibrant. Set against a luminous, textured yellow background, this piece explores the interplay between the light of distant star's and galaxies.
The artwork features a rich "impasto" style, with thick droplets of crimson red and deep navy circles that seem to float over layers of mossy green and lime. I’ve incorporated various mark-making techniques, including visible canvas textures and intricate cross-hatching, to create a sense of depth and tactile interest that reveals something new every time you look at it.
