Home is more than a physical space , it is where we soften, where we set down what we have carried, and where we allow ourselves to exist without armour. I wanted to create something that symbolises that moment of crossing the threshold, when the noise, demands, and weight of the outside world are left behind.

At the quiet edge between worlds, where endings soften and beginnings gather breath, the Threshold Guardian keeps watch.
This handcrafted wooden plaque holds the presence of an ancient sentinel , a worn, earthy face, as though shaped by time itself. Her expression is neither stern nor gentle, but knowing.
Set upon the plaque rests a key, bearing a five-pointed star , the sacred symbol of balance between the elements, the body, and the unseen. The key represents passage, permission, and protection.
A red wax seal marks the piece a symbol of intention, protection, and the sealing of sacred thresholds.
Measuring 5 x 5 inches, this Threshold Guardian plaque is designed to hang beside a doorway, above an altar, or within a sacred space.
