Full description
These beautiful fine silver earrings are handmade using 99.9 fine grade silver clay with a geometric design on the front. The patterns on each earring are slightly different, this can be seen in the photos. This is due to the clay being rolled into a texture mat to create the pattern and giving them a handmade look. The fish hooks are 925 sterling silver.
The earrings are approx. 0.75 mm (H) x 0.75 mm (W).
Fine silver is made from recycled silver turned into a fine powder and mixed with water and a natural binding agent to create a clay or paste. This is then moulded or shaped, textured, cut and dried to remove the water element. Once dry, the clay is then fired to burn off the binding agent and turn the chat back into 99.9 grade fine silver.
