The Oracle card chosen for this rattle from the Angels and Ancestors pack was Druid. This means the energy of the rattle is intended to be a tool to help you stand strong in times of need.
I am an animist, which means I experience the world as alive — imbued with spirit, interconnected and intelligent. When I create a rattle, I do so in deep reverence to the spirit of the animal and the tree that have given their skin and wood to become its body.
Through ritual and ceremony, the rattle is born to help you reconnect with the Earth in a way that feels tangible and intimate. This is not symbolic — it is relational.

Full description
40cm L Handmade Rattle. Deer leather with a Hazel handle. Hand-stitched and bound in cream waxed cotton and filled with shells, wooden beads and semi-precious crystal chips in colours chosen to reflect the energy of the Druid. The handle is finished with suede for a soft fit in your hand. I lovingly craft every part of this shamanic tool for you.
The Hazel was coppiced in my garden, the deer leather soaked in a sacred bath of Artemisia, and it has been lovingly finished with a suede strip handle for comfort. It is finshed with two feathers gifted by my Sussex bantam chickens and a small detatchable agate charm.
The head measures 9cm W x 12cm H.
