We stumbled across the wonderful Deans Village while walking one day in Edinburgh and were struck by the unique architecture and atmosphere. It was a rather moody sky which created the perfect backdrop for the colourful buildings.

Dean Village is a scenic former milling community set in a valley beside the Water of Leith, only a short 10-minute stroll from Edinburgh’s city centre. Celebrated for its fairytale-like 19th-century character, the area is home to charming colourful cottages, the landmark Well Court, and peaceful riverside paths that provide a calm retreat from the energy of the city.
Printed in small batches in our home studio in Glasgow using heavyweight Illford Galeri 310 gsm professional photo paper for museum quality results.
