Inspired by my own dogs and years of grooming long-eared breeds, I created these snoods to be both practical and beautiful. Spaniels, cockapoos and other fluffy companions often need their ears kept clean during feeding, grooming or outdoor walks, especially in wet weather.
The Lucky Dip idea came from my love of knitting with different textures, colours and leftover yarns, turning every piece into something unique rather than letting good materials go to waste. Each snood is handmade with care, designed to be comfortable, cosy and easy to wear while adding a touch of fun and surprise for both dog and owner.
As part of Jacob’s Threads, every item is made in memory of a much-loved dog who inspired a return to creative work and a passion for making practical accessories for pets.
Safety information
hese snoods are designed as decorative accessories for supervised wear. Always ensure the snood fits comfortably and is not too tight around your pet’s neck. Remove the snood if it becomes wet, damaged, or if your pet shows signs of discomfort. Pets should not be left unattended while wearing accessories. Not suitable for chewing or rough play. Keep away from very young pets or those prone to pulling items off. Check regularly for signs of wear. Discontinue use if loose threads or damage appear. If you also want a short Care / Washing version to go underneath, here’s one that usually passes too: Care Instructions Hand wash or machine wash on a cool 30°C cycle. Do not tumble dry. Reshape while damp and air dry flat.

This Girls Lucky Dip Snood is a mystery selection chosen especially for female dogs. You will receive one handmade snood in a pretty, feminine colour or pattern. Designs may include soft pastels, pink tones, flecked yarns, or other lovely combinations depending on current stock.
Each snood is carefully hand knitted in chunky or super chunky yarn to keep ears warm, clean and protected during walks, feeding or rest time.
