Full description
Meet Olive and Hilda. These old ladies is a mixed media sculpture, mostly needle felted on a wire frame and come as a pair. They come as a pair as they have been best friends all their lives, so would be very upset to be separated. Olive is wearing a fabric shirt with a woolly jumper with a matching scarf and is busy gossiping with her best friend Hilda, who is also wearing a fabric shirt and woolly jumper with a faux fur collar. Hilda is also wearing glasses as her eyesight is not as good as it used to be, but I think her hearing is obviously very good as from the look on her face, whatever Olive is telling her, looks to be very interesting! They are both wearing winter boots, so where Hilda got the Sunflower from, I have no idea. They both measure approximately … cm in height, with long spindly legs and arms. They are both free standing but, as you can see, they are happy to be sat down on a mantlepiece or shelf where they can enjoy a good natter and see the comings and goings of the house.
Please note, they are fragile and aren’t dolls for playing with. They are for decoration purposes only and should be kept away from children.
