This scarf began with one, little mitred square - I kept adding to it, allowing the piece to ramble through some of my favourite colours, textures and knit stitches until I thought I'd better stop!

This long, uniquely made scarf is a celebration of colour, texture and joyful freestyle knitting. Created using a carefully chosen blend of yarns - including vintage, preloved and often hard-to-find fibres - it's a piece that truly cannot be repeated.
The length makes it wonderfully versatile: wrap it generously, drape it loosely, style it your own way. The design has a quirky charm and "arty", boho character that not only will keep you warm but will also stand out as a piece of wearable art, guaranteed to brighten the greyest of days.

Each item from The Tangled Palette is made with a selection of new, preloved & vintage yarns including various wools, mohair, alpaca, cotton, bamboo, silk and acrylic.
These materials can require washing by different methods, therefore the following is advised: Wash either by hand or in a cool machine cycle (suitable for wool & other delicates).
If washing by hand, avoid vigorous rubbing, as this may cause felting to certain areas.
If washing in a machine, place in a separate laundry bag to avoid tangling with other items.
Not suitable for tumble drying.
Reshape whilst damp (if required).
