Why on sale - the layers are not perfectly aligned, there are some small imperfections here and there mostly caused by the fact that I used the wrong setting on my laser and the wood was burned too much.
This tiny layered wooden portrait features a sharp dressed pigeon (who might actually be a raven), complete with a Peaky Blinders-style cap and a folded newspaper tucked under his wing. He’s framed by twisting branches that give the whole piece a deliciously eerie, Victorian gothic vibe.
Each layer is laser cut from wood (using the engraver), assembled by hand, and finished with hand painted details to bring out his brooding charm. At just 8.5cm tall, he’s the perfect little oddity for anyone who loves quirky characters, dark whimsy, or birds with questionable backstories.
Unfortunately I currently don't have an access to my laser, so this picture most likely won't be reproduced.
