Hiya! My name is Aleksandra and all items in this shop are made by me under the strict supervision of my gorgeous white cat.
My mom taught me to crochet when I was very little and since then I was always drawn to all sorts of fiber handmade. My dad was a painter and a woodworker, so this had a huge effect on me as well. I’d never be as talented as he was, but I can’t resist the urge to draw from time to time, because I like to think I can make the world around me a tiny bit more magical, more kind and…. well, more floral. Drawing calms me down, especially working in symmetry, and you can find that all laser cut wooden items in my shop are floral and symmetrical. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) I can’t stick to one type of craft and I migrate between crochet, felt and laser cut/illustration all the time and I try to find ways to mix these crafts together. So my shop may seem a bit inconsistent, but I hope that at least the botanical theme is consistent enough. I used to work in IT, but was pretty unhappy and now I'm trying to go back to things that actually fill me with joy.
I am inspired by botanical and floral motifs, light, mossy forests and North sea. My favorite things to make are the ones that make people smile. I do find happiness in knowing that most of the items from my shop are bought for gifts and represent warm feelings and affection.
I do my best to work with eco-friendly materials and I enjoy crocheting with cotton.

I am really pleased with my purchase. It was bought more as a decorative item than as a bookmark, a way of bringing some warmth into the colder months. I'll need to buy a vase small enough for it but at the moment it is looking good on top of my bookcase. A very customer. Thanks.

This is a work of art. I am absolutely delighted with this. It arrived quickly and I had lovely conversations with the seller.
There are other beautiful items on her website so this bookmark, which was a present for my elderly mum, will not be my last.
