This clock was inspired by the idea of a flower frozen in light. The deep blue petals echo twilight skies, while the white and gluechip pieces bring a sense of frost, clarity and quiet brightness. When sunlight passes through, the glass throws soft shadows and shifting patterns, creating a moment of calm beauty in the everyday. It is a piece made to slow time a little, inviting you to pause and enjoy the glow.
Safety information
This item is glass and therefore breakable. Please handle with care and secure the item to a fixed point. All edges have been ground to remove sharpness. Consider how you display the glass and that it is in a safe location away from wagging dog tails or small hands! Lead solder has been used but this is very low risk. However, I always wash my hands after handling to reduce the risk to zero.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Full description
A striking stained glass clock created in rich dark blue, crisp white and shimmering clear gluechip glass. The petals alternate in colour to form a bold, elegant flower shape, each piece catching the light in its own way. This is an original Rowan Handmade design and a true one of a kind time piece. While I may create others in the same pattern, the glass itself will never be repeated, making this clock completely unique.
The finished piece measures approximately 25 cm in diameter. It can be hung from the battery holder or displayed in a stand. In our own home we keep one on a sunny windowsill where it casts a beautiful coloured shadow and glows with natural light.
Every section of glass is hand cut, wrapped in copper foil and soldered using the Tiffany method. Craft glass naturally contains tiny variations and textures that make each piece original. The handmade nature also means the clock is not perfectly round, and we believe this adds to its charm, character
Please ensure that you place (and secure) your glass in a safe location; if the piece falls it is likely to break. The item is not a toy.

Postage cost is for Royal Mail 48-hour tracked large parcel - my apologies for the additional cost but such a unique item should be protected with deep packaging and guaranteed delivery, as much as that is possible. Any unused costs will be returned.
