This piece was inspired by the idea of simple, joyful messages made tangible in glass. LOVE felt like the perfect word to shape by hand — something bright, universal, and quietly uplifting. I chose colours that glow beautifully in sunlight, hoping to create a piece that feels like a small celebration of warmth and connection.
The making process is slow and mindful: cutting each letter, smoothing the curves, wrapping the edges in copper foil, and soldering everything into a clean, balanced form. It’s a piece designed to bring a little brightness to a room, whether it’s hung in a window, added to a gallery wall, or given as a thoughtful gift.
Safety information
This item is glass and therefore breakable. Please handle with care and secure the item to a fixed point. All edges have been ground to remove sharpness. Consider how you display the glass and that it is in a safe location away from wagging dog tails or small hands! Lead solder has been used but this is very low risk. However, I always wash my hands after handling to reduce the risk to zero.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

Full description
A handcrafted stained glass set spelling the word LOVE, made using the traditional Tiffany foiled glass method. Each letter is individually cut from vibrant art glass, edged with copper foil, soldered, and polished to a smooth finish. The colours catch the light beautifully, creating a bright, uplifting display whether hung together as a word or spaced apart as individual accents.
The item would look wonderful hung in a sunny wondow where the colours glow throughout the day; displayed above a desk as a small daily reminder of joy; given as a wedding, nniversary or engagement gift or decoration; or given as a thoughtful gift for new homes, birthdays, or anyone who loves colour and handmade craft.
Each letter measures approximately 5 to 7 cm wide and 9 cm tall, with its own discreet hanging hook on the back.
Craft glass naturally contains tiny variations, textures, and swirls, making every set completely unique. The photographs show the colours as faithfully as possible, though the glass will shift gently depending on the light in your home.
Please ensure that you place (and secure) your glass in a safe location; if the piece falls it is likely to break. The item is not a toy.
