This tote began with the fabric itself — a scatter of foxes in different colours, each one mid‑pause, full of quiet mischief. The cream background reminded me of soft woodland light, the kind that filters through trees on a warm morning. I paired it with rainbow webbing handles to echo the playful spirit of the print and to bring a little unexpected joy to an everyday carry‑all.
I chose a tough cotton canvas for the outer so the bag feels sturdy and dependable, and lined it with vibrant cotton to add a hidden flash of colour inside — a small secret brightness for the person carrying it. Every stitch is intended to make the bag both practical and cheerful, something that can be used daily but still feels special each time it’s picked up.

A roomy, cheerful tote bag sewn from tough cotton canvas and lined with vibrant dotty inner cotton. The outer fabric features a lively scattering of fox illustrations in different colours on a soft cream background, paired with rainbow webbing handles that add a joyful flash of colour.
This is a generously sized everyday tote — sturdy enough for shopping, bright enough for days out, and soft enough to fold into a suitcase or keep by the door for spontaneous adventures. It works beautifully as: a small grocery or market bag; a personal beach or picnic bag; a carry all for baby bits, books, craft projects, or work essentials or a gift for someone who loves woodland creatures and colour
The cotton webbing handles measure approximately 28–30 cm (ideal for hand carrying) and are securely stitched into the seams for strength and longevity.
