A few pieces of leftover glass came together beautifully to make this fairy - sometimes this happens very naturally.
The inspiration for this design comes from simple, natural colour contrasts found in petals, leaves and early spring blossoms. The multi‑pink glass introduces gentle shifts in tone, while the clear textured wings add structure and clarity. The aim is a quietly expressive piece with its own character, made to bring a small, thoughtful detail to a shelf, branch or window.
Safety information
This item is glass and therefore breakable. Please handle with care and secure the item to a fixed point. All edges have been ground to remove sharpness. Consider how you display the glass and that it is in a safe location away from wagging dog tails or small hands! Lead solder has been used but this is very low risk. However, I always wash my hands after handling to reduce the risk to zero.

Full description
A hand crafted stained glass woodland fairy made from multi pink glass for the body and textured clear glass for the wings. The combination gives a gentle contrast between soft colour and crisp texture, allowing the wings to catch the light while the body holds a subtle warmth. This fairy is one of a wider collection, and the final photograph in the sequence shows some of the other designs available in separate listings.
The finished piece measures approximately 9 cm in height and 10 cm in width, including the hook, and can be hung as a small decorative accent or displayed as part of a seasonal arrangement. It is sometimes hidden in the garden for younger visitors to discover, though it is brought indoors afterwards as it is not intended for outdoor use.
Each fairy is cut and shaped by hand using the traditional Tiffany foiled glass method. Every piece of glass is edged with copper foil, soldered, cleaned and sometimes finished with patina to deepen the tones. Craft glass naturally contains small variations and character marks which make every fairy unique, and the colours shown in the photographs have been captured as faithfully as possible.
Please ensure that you place (and secure) your glass in a safe location; if the piece falls it is likely to break. The item is not a toy.
