The inspiration for this design comes from the quiet, mossy corners of the woods where light filters through leaves in soft, shifting patterns. The bottle green body echoes the depth of forest shade, while the Gluechip and wispy white wings suggest movement, frost and the fleeting shimmer of something just out of sight. It is a small piece made to feel gentle and enchanting, as though a woodland spirit has paused for a moment in the light.
Safety information
This item is glass and therefore breakable. Please handle with care and secure the item to a fixed point. All edges have been ground to remove sharpness. Consider how you display the glass and that it is in a safe location away from wagging dog tails or small hands! Lead solder has been used but this is very low risk. However, I always wash my hands after handling to reduce the risk to zero.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
A hand crafted stained glass woodland fairy made from translucent bottle green glass for the body, wispy white glass for the lower wings and clear Gluechip glass for the upper wings. The combination gives the piece a soft, woodland glow with wings that catch the light in delicate, frosted patterns.
This fairy is one of a wider collection, and the final photograph in the sequence shows some of the other designs available in separate listings. The finished piece measures approximately 9 cm in height and 10 cm in width, including the hook, and can be hung wherever you’d like a small touch of gentle magic.
Each fairy is cut and shaped by hand using the traditional Tiffany foiled glass method. Every piece of glass is edged with copper foil, carefully soldered and cleaned. Craft glass naturally contains small variations and character marks which make every fairy unique, and the colours shown in the photographs have been captured as faithfully as possible.
When we have younger visitors we hide these in the garden for guests to find! (I do take them in at the end of the day as they are not meant to stay outside.)
Please ensure that you place (and secure) your glass in a safe location; if the piece falls it is likely to break. The item is not a toy.
