This tulip was inspired by the gentle optimism of early spring—the way yellow blooms seem to hold sunlight even on cooler days. I wanted to capture that feeling in glass: warm, bright, and quietly hopeful. The art‑deco lines give the piece a sense of calm structure, while the translucent yellow brings softness and glow.
Creating it was a slow, mindful process, letting the shape unfold through careful cutting, shaping, and soldering. The finished piece carries that sense of light and intention, offering a small moment of brightness wherever it hangs
Safety information
This item is glass and therefore breakable. Please handle with care and secure the item to a fixed point. All edges have been ground to remove sharpness. Consider how you display the glass and that it is in a safe location away from wagging dog tails or small hands! Lead solder has been used but this is very low risk. However, I always wash my hands after handling to reduce the risk to zero.

Full description
A single stained glass tulip in a soft art deco style, crafted from translucent yellow glass that glows beautifully when the light passes through it. The gentle wisps within the glass give the petals a sense of movement and brightness, creating a piece that feels uplifting and quietly joyful.
The finished tulip measures approximately 22 cm high by 12 cm wide, including the hanging hook. One secure hook is soldered to the reverse; for safety, it’s best to hang the piece from a solid fixing rather than a temporary or lightweight hook.
Each element is hand cut and shaped using the traditional Tiffany copper foil method. Every piece of glass is wrapped, soldered, cleaned, and polished by hand. Craft glass naturally carries tiny variations, swirls, and textures, making every piece completely unique. Photographs are taken in natural light to show the colours as faithfully as possible.
This is the only tulip available in this exact colourway, making it a special one off piece
