This design was inspired by the warmth of early morning light, when the day begins with a soft golden glow. The iridised glass brings a gentle shimmer that feels almost ethereal, while the deep yellow quarters echo the steady brightness of a rising sun. Together they create a star that feels hopeful and uplifting, a small reminder of clarity and renewal during the winter season.
Safety information
This item is glass and therefore breakable. Please handle with care and secure the item to a fixed point. All edges have been ground to remove sharpness. Consider how you display the glass and that it is in a safe location away from wagging dog tails or small hands! Lead solder has been used but this is very low risk. However, I always wash my hands after handling to reduce the risk to zero.

Full description
A hand crafted stained glass Bethlehem star made from clear iridised textured glass for the four main points and a rich deep yellow glass for the quarter points, creating a bright warm glow that shifts beautifully as the light moves across the surface. A small hook is attached so it can hang from your Christmas tree, a festive garland or in a window as a suncatcher. Other colour combinations are available in separate listings.
Each star is cut and shaped by hand using the traditional Tiffany foiled glass method. Every piece of glass is edged with copper foil, carefully soldered, cleaned and sometimes finished with patina to deepen the tones. Craft glass naturally contains small variations and character marks which make every star unique, and the colours shown in the photographs have been captured as faithfully as possible.
The star measures approximately 22 cm in height and 15 cm in width at its widest point.
Please ensure that you place (and secure) your glass in a safe location; if the piece falls it is likely to break. The item is not a toy.
