This design grew from the quiet beauty of winter evenings — that moment when light feels precious and full of promise. The mix of iridised shimmer and soft pink was chosen to echo the warmth of candlelight and the gentle hopefulness of the season. It’s a small star with a peaceful presence, made to bring a little stillness and wonder wherever it hangs.
Safety information
This item is glass and therefore breakable. Please handle with care and secure the item to a fixed point. All edges have been ground to remove sharpness. Consider how you display the glass and that it is in a safe location away from wagging dog tails or small hands! Lead solder has been used but this is very low risk. However, I always wash my hands after handling to reduce the risk to zero.

Full description
A hand crafted stained glass Bethlehem star made from clear iridised and hammered dimpled glass for the four main points, paired with streaky pale pink glass for the quarter points, creating a gentle shimmer that catches the light beautifully.
Each star is cut and shaped by hand using the traditional Tiffany foiled glass method, with every piece edged in copper foil, carefully soldered, cleaned and sometimes finished with patina to deepen the tones. A small hook is attached so it can hang from your Christmas tree, a festive garland, above a nativity scene or in a window as a suncatcher. The star measures approximately 22 cm in height and 15 cm in width at its widest point.
Craft glass naturally contains small variations and character marks, making every star unique, and colours have been photographed as faithfully as possible. Other colour combinations are available in separate listings.
Please ensure that you place (and secure) your glass in a safe location; if the piece falls it is likely to break. The item is not a toy.
