The design was inspired by the soft colours and delicate movement of butterflies in summer gardens. The amber glass gives the fairy a warm, gentle presence, while the iridescent wings add a subtle shimmer that changes with the light. She’s created to bring a little brightness and calm to any window or workspace.
Safety information
This item is glass and therefore breakable. Please handle with care and secure the item to a fixed point. All edges have been ground to remove sharpness. Consider how you display the glass and that it is in a safe location away from wagging dog tails or small hands! Lead solder has been used but this is very low risk. However, I always wash my hands after handling to reduce the risk to zero.

Full description
This listing is for a delicate Flutterby Fairy crafted in the Tiffany stained glass technique, with butterfly like wings that shimmer as they catch the light. Her translucent amber body glows warmly in daylight, while her lightly textured, iridescent clear wings scatter soft rainbow tones across nearby surface
Each piece is hand cut, foiled, and soldered with care, creating a tiny figure that feels both ethereal and full of character. Hung in a sunny window or gifted to someone who loves a touch of magic, she brings a gentle sense of movement and light wherever she rests.
The fairy could be a Christmas tree ornament or an all year round suncatcher; light catches the wings beautifully. On warm, dry days you could hang the fairy in a tree; we like to do this when we have younger visitors and am always delighted when they want to go in search of them.
The finished item, with hook, measures approximately 9 cm high by 7.5 cm wide.
Please ensure that you place (and secure) your glass in a safe location; if the piece falls it is likely to break. The item is not a toy.
