I always found oven mitts too bulky so I decided to make my own pot holders. These are an absolute joy to use, and the only kind of mitt we now use in our own house.
Safety information
Because of the Insulbright, which includes a metallised fabric to help its heat resistant properties, this pot holder can not be used in a microwave and should not ever be exposed to an open flame.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Protect your hands and add some style to your kitchen with these adorable heat-resistant pot holders. This design - including the amount of insulation - has been carefully tested in my own home for some years to brilliant results - we no longer use any other type of oven mitt. What makes these pot holders truly excellent is that they can be washed in a washing machine and tumble dried any time they get dirty.
Each pot holder is 21cm at it's longest and 15cm at its widest and made of two layers of quilting cotton, two layers of insulbright insulated batting, and a layer of quilt batting for a well insulated pot placing experience.
Because of the Insulbright, which includes a metallised fabric to help its heat resistant properties, these pot holders can not be used in a microwave and should not ever be exposed to an open flame.

For a plain colour cotton please tell me what colour and if I don't already have it I can source it.
